I created a procedural bridge in Houdini as a learning project over the weekend. I've struggled to do this in the past, so I was pretty thrilled that I was able to set all of it up in a sensible clean way. The hardest bit was attaching the straight piece of rope from the ends of the bridge to the angular supporting poles holding it up. Next steps: Add the ability to vary the planks and pillars with some randomization. Missing planks or broken planks. UV texturing for wood and rope.
